What's included in a typical formation package
Packages vary, but a good Irish formation service will normally cover: checking your company name is available, preparing the constitution, completing and filing Form A1 with the CRO, paying the CRO fee, providing the certificate of incorporation and a company register, and filing the company's beneficial owners with the RBO. Many also register the company for tax with Revenue and provide a company secretary or registered office address.
How long does it take?
Once your details are in, most partners file within a day or two. The CRO usually processes online applications using the standard constitution in around 5–10 working days.

Frequently asked questions
What is company formation?

Who can help me form a company in Ireland?
Formation agents, company secretarial firms, accountants and solicitors all offer incorporation services. Accountants are often the best fit for small businesses, because they can carry on with your bookkeeping and tax.
What documents do I need?
Proposed company name, registered office address, details and PPSN (or equivalent) of directors and secretary, shareholders and share split, and the company's main activity. Your formation partner will confirm anything else.
