Terms of use
Last updated: October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of registermycompany.ie (the "Site"), operated by Nicholas Rooney, Dublin, Ireland ("we", "us"). By using the Site or submitting a form you agree to them.
2. What we do — and don't do
We provide a free introduction service that connects people who want to register a company, sole trader business or business name in Ireland with independent third-party firms ("Partners") — company formation agents, company secretarial firms and accountants.
- We are not a law firm, accountancy practice, tax adviser, formation agent or company secretary, and we do not provide legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.
- We do not register companies or file documents with the CRO, RBO or Revenue.
- Any contract for services is between you and the Partner. The Partner sets its own fees and terms and is solely responsible for its services.
3. Fees and referral payments
Using the Site is free for business owners. Partners may pay us a referral fee or commission when we introduce a client to them. This does not increase the price the Partner quotes you. If you opt in to card payment information, we may also earn a commission if you choose a payments provider we introduce.
4. No guarantee of a match
We aim to match every request within one working day, but we can't guarantee that a Partner will be available in every area, accept your work, or meet a particular deadline.
5. Information on the Site
Guides and figures (such as CRO fees, VAT thresholds and typical costs) are general information, correct to the best of our knowledge at the date shown. Rules and fees change; always confirm with the CRO, Revenue, the RBO or a qualified adviser before acting. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of general information on the Site.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to give accurate information, to submit requests only for yourself or a business you're authorised to act for, and not to misuse the Site (spam, automated submissions, attempts to disrupt it).
7. Partners
We take reasonable care in choosing Partners, but we don't supervise their work and don't endorse or guarantee their services. Complaints about a Partner's service should be raised with the Partner and, where relevant, their professional body. We'd appreciate you telling us too, so we can review whether to keep working with them.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Site or from services provided by a Partner. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Intellectual property
Site content is owned by us. You may share links and short quotations with attribution, but not copy the Site wholesale.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
